Vogue's first trip to the beach!

Vogue had her first trip to the beach last week! She loved it… I let off the lead and she was happy just to play around me (Chasing her lead lol). I put Angel and Jazz in the car whilst I took Vogue down because Jazz was demanding me to play ball with her whilst Angel was barking her head off!!! So I had my hands full haha!

It's so nice that Vogue can now go on short walks with the Angel and Jazz. I have had to carry her around the last few weeks so its such a relief for her to be able to walk now!

Here is a video of her on the beach for the first time and some photo's of her at 12 weeks…

Jazz's Comeback 2009

Shes back! @ 19months

Jazz has now started back at her Agility training, I AM SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!

Things are looking extremely good at the moment. She is confident, happy and very focused. It has taken alot of work to get her were she is now but it's deffiantly worth it.

The last time she done agility must have been around 5 months ago (It feels more like 5 years ago)

I couldn't keep up with her today, she is now 'Miss Speedy Pants'! Her contacts are running (She got her contacts every time, it was 100%) So im thinking about just leaving them running, instead of using tragets.

I don't want to make her training to strict for example perfect waits and perfect contacts etc... I will work on all that later on in her training as for now all i want is for to enjoy herself and run like the wind!

Here she is training today...

Jazz Weaving

Yes you read the title right, Jazz is actually weaving. As most of you know Jazz has had serious confidence issues with Agility. I must admit I was ready to leave her Agility and stick with Obedience, but today I had a change of heart.

I went into the garden (trying to be confident with her) and well.... what can I say.... SHE WEAVED. Jazz was whining with excitment!! I have never seen her so happy doing Agility since we first started.

I know it was only weaving and not Contacts & Jumps etc... But for the past 6 months she hasn't even been able to attempt the weaves. So as you can imagine I am one EXTREMELY happy dog owner right now!

Seeing her enjoy herself this afternoon has made me determined to stick out her Agility training (through thick and thin) I know its not going to be easy, its going to be very difficult and could take along time, but I am willing to stick it out with her.

I am going to do 1-2-1 training with her, without any trainers or anyone else just me and Jazz. This way I hope to slowly build her confidence.

I will keep the blog updated on her training.

Is Vogue Confused?!?!?

Haha... Vogue is very easily puzzled!! I was playing some funny noises and well she was buffled. She makes me laugh when ever she hears a noise that sounds different her head goes from side to side in confusment lol.

This video was actualy taken on the 20/12/08 (But I thought I would put a video together)

Happy New Year to all you bloggers!

I hope that 2009 brings everyone lots of happiness and success.

I am really looking foward to Crufts with Jazz, and coming over to the UK with Angel to compete in several Agility shows. And of course I am extremely looking foward to start Agility training with Vogue!

Best Wishes xx
